Laurentis Romy was born in 1964 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. His passion for art began their eight-year-old cartoon character drawing everything that passed through his hands. In the hollows of the bowls of figs incipient painted his watercolor landscapes. In 1983 he joined the School of Fine Arts in Santiago to study painting under the guidance of teachers Chiqui Mendoza, Merido Lora and Jacinto Dominguez, study of antique decorative art with the Puerto Rican Anabis Irrzarri decorator, who was an assistant for two years. He has participated in over twenty group exhibitions. In 2008, I present the individual "Cracks of Color" at the Hotel Gran Almirante in Santiago. He studied photography, English, Art Advertising, Broadcasting, Social Communication, Theatre, Cinematography. From an early age, she is writing. He has written several short stories, poetry, screenplays (including three short films have been filmed) in 2009 made the documentary "Mother Freedom" (9min.) and currently writes two novels.
